Dr. Adam Furman, DDS
Dr. Furman received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School. Following his graduation from dental school, Dr. Furman practiced general dentistry in San Antonio, Texas while his wife, Dr. Wendi Furman, completed her dental residency. During his time in San Antonio, Dr. Furman served as the treasurer of the San Antonio chapter of the Academy of General Dentistry and was a member of a number of dental associations including the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the local Seattle Study Club. Dr. Furman has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education since graduating from dental school, far exceeding requirements established by the licensing board. Dr. Furman’s commitment to lifelong learning and professional advancement is ongoing. Most recently, Dr. Furman has completed hands-on implant training and earned a certificate of completion following an implant fellowship offered by NYU and DentalXP. He has received additional education and certification in implant placement, Invisalign treatment, nitrous oxide sedation, and minimal enteral sedation. Dr. Furman believes in treating his patients as if they are members of his family—and takes pride in providing the highest quality of dental care for each individual patient.
Dr. Furman grew up in El Paso, TX. He discovered his passion for, and set his sights on a career in dentistry at a young age while still in middle school. Dr. Furman attended Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth Texas, where he graduated with a B.S. in biology and minors in business, psychology, and chemistry. He was a member of the Pre-Dental Society and conducted research for Dr. Michael Chumley, focusing on Alzheimer’s and other neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Furman participated in numerous competitive-level intramural sports while at TCU and during dental school and he remains passionate in his support of TCU athletics. He is a proud alumnus of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity.
Outside of work, Dr. Furman enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing with their dogs (Furby and Charlie), traveling, playing tennis, and being an avid fan and supporter of TCU Horned Frogs athletics.
